let’s go on an incredible adventure!

If you’re here, some part of you already knows that you want to elope. You’ve already tossed out the memo that says you have to do things the traditional way. You’re dreaming up epic sunrises, ocean views, mountaintops, and maybe a helicopter ride?!

But you’re doing it for a deeper reason than the epic view. You’re doing it because you actually want to connect with each other on your wedding day. You want to bring the dogs (aka the only family members whose opinions matter more to you than your own). And you want to feel like yourselves — the way you do when it’s the two of you out in nature, not in a crowded room with your extended family.

If you’re gonna do things the non-traditional way, you want to do them right. Let’s make this day about all the things you want it to be about, and none of the things you don’t.

bring the pups!

I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t *super* excited to meet them

But more than that, I’m excited for you to have them by your side.

You deserve to do what makes you feel happy and at ease on your day. Let the wind mess up your hair, trade the heels for hiking boots, and say “I do” with the squirrels (and me) as your witnesses. I won’t pressure you to do a damn thing you don’t wanna do; I’m already on board.

elopements are a giant permission slip to say yes to whatever you actually want

One day, your elopement will live on in photos

Your kids (or your nieces/nephews for you cool aunts/uncles out there) will be flipping through pictures, taking note of how awesome it is that their parents went hiking through the redwoods instead of having a traditional wedding. Your photos will tell them a story. Let’s make it a good one.
