eloping sounds great, but where do we start?
First, there’s no right or wrong way to elope, That’s the beauty of it! You can:
Go kayaking
Get your dress dirty
Eat pizza for dinner
Ride your motorcycle off into the sunset
Have your dog officiate your ceremony
Wear a rainbow dress instead of a white one
Go skinny dipping
Scuba dive in Hawaii
Rent an A frame in the mountains
Create a day inspired by your love, not someone else’s idea of “tradition.”
spend your day the way you want to..
And get photos that let you relive all the little moments
The epic shots of you two making out surrounded by mountain views are awesome, but here’s what most elopement photographers won’t tell you: you’ll cherish the shots of the little things just as much. Like when you pause on the side of the trail to point out a bird or when you sit down at a picnic table and toss lunchables into each other’s mouths. My job, as your photographer, isn’t just to get the shots you’d expect, and it definitely isn’t to put you in poses all day long; it’s to be your story teller.
“Jessika guided us when we needed it or stepped back and let us soak in the moment when needed.”
Her passion for what she does truly shows, not only in her photos, but in her loving energy. When we saw our gallery for the first time we couldn't believe it. Absolutely stunning!! We laughed, we cried, stayed up until 2am going thru them. The photos instantly put us back to each moment; something we value and are so grateful for.”

We've got a wild & beautiful day to prepare
1. Fill out my inquiry form.
We can hop on a Zoom call so you can meet my dogs (but really, this’ll give you a chance to ask questions, get to know me, and tell me about you). Once we get contracts signed and an invoice taken care of, your date will be booked!
2. If you need help, I’m a phone call away!
I’m happy to make location, timeline, and wardrobe suggestions. You also might want to work with a planner(yes even for a two person elopement!) — planners can help with details like decor, budget, your elopement intentions and coordinating a meal at the top of a mountain.
3. About two months out I like to go over the timeline.
We will get the nitty gritty details planned out, like drive time between locations.
4. It’s elopement day which means you have the best day of your lives!
I arrive ready to document it all, pet your pups and eat some cake!
My values:
Diversity & Inclusivity
Love is love. No one should feel left out of the elopement/wedding industry(or any industry), which is why I happily photograph couples regardless of their skin color, gender identity, cultural traditions, sexual orientation or size.
Environmental Sustainability
I’m a Leave No Trace certified photographer. I won't do "anything" for the photo, if it will harm/endanger the environment or animals in our surrounding area. If you're new to the LNP principles, don't worry I'm here to guide you, not judge you!
I'm the right photographer for you if you’re looking for…
An experienced elopement professional to guide you through the planning process
A person who allows you to be yourself and feel comfortable
Photos that let you relive, not only the big moments, but all of the little moments on your elopement day

elopement Faqs
No one said you’re suppose to know everything about elopements-no dumb questions here!
do we really take photos for 8 hours?
A very common question, but don’t worry you won’t have an 8 hour long photo shoot. That would be exhausting and not how you want to spend your elopement day! During that time, we’ll be chatting, exploring, eating, making memories, and having adventures. This is when a lot of candid photos happen! Of course we also spend time around sunrise or sunset taking fun photos!
Will you help me find other vendors?
Yes I will help you! I can send my recommendations so you can reach out to them!
will you help pick out locations?
Absolutely! I suggest locations based on the vibe you’re trying to achieve. I want the location to fit YOU! Whether it's studio, field, lake view, city or woods. Maybe somewhere different like an apple orchard, greenhouse or tree farm. Once that's decided I have several spots to recommend!
stormy weather?
We can always reschedule if weather conditions are less than ideal, BUT I gotta tell ya, sometimes embracing the weather makes for an amazing experience (and amazing photos)!
do you travel?
Yes I love to travel! I have my travel schedule and bucket list locations listed on my About Me Page here
can i bring my dog?
Yes! Please bring your dog!
